This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, and motivated individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in event planning, nonprofit marketing, fundraising, customer engagement, and community relations. No previous event experience is required-we provide paid training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to help you succeed.
As an Entry-Level Event Assistant, you will work alongside experienced event professionals and community leaders to help deliver successful events that support charitable organizations, nonprofit partners, and meaningful community initiatives.
Entry-Level Event Assistant Responsibilities
As an Event Assistant, you will:
  • Assist with planning and executing charity events, fundraising campaigns, community outreach programs, and promotional activations.
  • Support event setup, guest registration, event materials, logistics, and onsite operations.
  • Welcome and engage attendees, donors, volunteers, and community members with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Support event activities, attendee experiences, and overall event execution.
  • Promote nonprofit initiatives, fundraising programs, and community campaigns while providing accurate information to guests.
  • Assist with guest check-in, registration processes, donation support, and distribution of event materials.
  • Track attendance, gather participant feedback, and assist with measuring event success.
  • Work closely with event professionals and team members to help deliver successful community events.
  • Maintain an organized, positive, and professional presence during live events and outreach activities.
  • Participate in paid training focused on event marketing, nonprofit engagement, fundraising, leadership development, and customer communication.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about community impact and eager to develop new professional skills.
Ideal candidates have:
  • A strong interest in event planning, nonprofit organizations, fundraising, marketing, or community outreach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Dependability and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
  • A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow professionally.
  • A high school diploma or GED required; college coursework is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events.

Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, events, volunteer programs, fundraising, or nonprofit organizations is helpful but not required.

  • Immediate full-time employment opportunities.
  • Paid training and hands-on event experience.
  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
