Job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic Public Relations & Communications Assistant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to gain hands-on experience in brand management, media relations, marketing strategy, and event coordination while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant, you'll help execute marketing initiatives, support client campaigns, coordinate events, and strengthen brand awareness through strategic communications and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing integrated marketing and public relations strategies
  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and brand awareness efforts
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and business partners, delivering professional and timely communication
  • Represent client brands with professionalism while building strong relationships
  • Brainstorm creative ideas to generate media coverage, community engagement, and brand visibility
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing onsite and offsite promotional events
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing opportunities to provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction
  • Provide administrative and project support for ongoing marketing and communications initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Multimedia, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in public relations, communications, marketing, customer service, events, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive, positive attitude
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed
