Job Title:  Promotions Manager - WFTV Orlando

Position Overview

WFTV Orlando is looking for a Promotions Manager who will lead a team of creatives in the daily, monthly, and long-term goals of the Marketing Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • As the Promotion Manager you are responsible for the daily operation and workflow of our Marketing department.  Planning, scheduling, and supervising the production of on-air and digital promotion while always looking for opportunities to reinforce and spread our brand is the main objective for this position.
  • Always ensure promotions are following the latest research and consistent with our brand.
  • Review topical scripts to ensure the writing is on-brand, process driven, urgent and always sells the user benefit.
  • Help in the planning and execution of outside media campaigns; including digital/social, OTT, cable, radio, and outdoor marketing.
  • Work with the Sales department in execution of sponsored promotions and initiatives.
  • Work closely with both the CSD and News managers to forecast, plan and produce topicals, series, image, PSA and special promotional and sales initiatives.
  • Liaison between WFTV and ABC Network and Syndicators; constantly communicating to optimize promotion via promos, digital and outside media.
  • Creation and supervising of daily promotional logs.
  • Help in the planning and production of image shoots and station initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • College Degree Required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills needed.
  • 3-5 Years Work Experience as a Promotions Writer/Producer required.
  • Must have Non-Linear Editing Experience either, preferably Adobe Premiere and Avid.
  • Established and polished experience in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Prefer candidate with hands-on experience in Canon Cinema/DSLR cameras.
