About the Role

Workspire is partnering with a nationally recognized construction services organization to identify an experienced Project Executive to lead complex electrical construction initiatives in the Dallas, TX area. This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale commercial and industrial projects while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team leadership across the full project lifecycle.

Our client is a trusted lifecycle partner supporting critical infrastructure projects across the United States. Their capabilities span electrical systems, mechanical and structural services, fabrication, inspection, underground installation, and maintenance. With a national footprint and a strong local delivery model, the organization specializes in simplifying complex construction challenges while building long-term relationships with clients across multiple industries.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned construction leader to guide high-impact projects from planning through completion while collaborating with operations, estimating, safety, fabrication, and quality teams. The Project Executive will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Within the first 6–12 months, lead multiple electrical construction projects to successful on-time delivery while maintaining project margins and controlling cost overruns.
  • Build and develop a high-performing project leadership team that strengthens coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and field operations.
  • Drive project profitability by monitoring financial forecasts, identifying risks early, and implementing corrective actions to protect budgets and timelines.
  • Oversee installation of complex electrical and industrial systems while ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing consistent communication, managing change orders, and identifying future business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Project Superintendents and engineering teams to develop project schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Lead procurement activities including materials, equipment, and subcontractor engagement to ensure project readiness and schedule adherence.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, safety compliance, and quality control.
  • Initiate and manage monthly Schedule of Values (SOV) submissions and maintain accurate project documentation across the lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting on project performance, financial health, and operational metrics to regional leadership.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of project management experience within electrical construction, industrial construction, or a related field.
  • Strong experience managing large construction projects including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Working knowledge of project management and construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar platforms.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineers, project managers, superintendents, and technical field teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills with both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working on large electrical infrastructure or data center construction projects.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.

If you’re excited about this opportunity but don’t meet every qualification, we still encourage you to apply.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Opportunity to lead large-scale infrastructure and electrical construction projects with significant operational impact.
  • Competitive compensation package including $180K–$200K salary, comprehensive benefits, and retirement plans with company match.
  • High-visibility leadership role working directly with regional leadership and executive stakeholders.
