S³, Inc. has an immediate need for a Program Control Analyst who will provide support to our Army contracts at Redstone Arsenal, AL The position is located at our Research Park HQ in Huntsville.
This is not a teleworking position.
We do not work with 3rd party recruiters.
Job Description:
The PCA will work independently for Corporate finance and provide project planning and control support for multiple contracts. Develop Excel finance tracking for contract performance, projecting resource utilization and revenue, replacing projections with actuals and time execution.
Duties:
  • Read and understand contract development and project planning and control support for CP, FFP, and T&M contracts.
  • Facilitate project setup, prepare the contract work plan (company template) with all pertinent contract information for the projection, tracking and reconciliation of labor hours/costs and material costs with Deltek Costpoint.
  • Prepare and provide Individual Work Authorizations for the contract staff to identify proper contract charge codes, verify timecard charges in Costpoint against budgets.
  • Enter and track contract product data through SharePoint applications, maintain a Continuity Book of task products, task processes, product deliverables, and schedules.
  • Establish, maintain Continuity Book processes, and update files, records, certificates, and/or other documents as required.
  • Prepare Budget Assessments, analyze cost and assess performance on multiple project elements, develop, monitor budgets.
  • Create and maintain project schedules through year end.
  • Develop monthly performance and cost reports to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with five years of relevant experience as a PCA using Deltek Costpoint.
  • Must have a skillset level of 4 out of 5 with Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Ability to identify project expenditures and prepare and update budgets.
  • Ability to build work plans in Excel for Fixed Firm Price, Cost Plus, and T&M contracts.
  • Must be able to execute pivot tables.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience tracking labor hours and incurred cost.
  • Must be capable of projecting contract usage resources through year end to reach year end revenue and profitability.
  • Must be capable of comparing work plan totals to CP PSRs and resolving inconsistencies.
