As a Program Cost Analyst, you'll be a key part of the programs team that integrates and balances the customers' perspective and the internal company goals and objectives in conjunction with the customer account leaders and program managers, and the rest of the customer success teams.
What you'll do:
  • Manage program costs and identify cost-saving opportunities and risks for airline customers.
  • Partner with Customer Account Leaders, Program Managers, and cross-functional teams to oversee financial performance of engine shop visits and long-term programs.
  • Analyze costs, revenue, and total working capital (TWC), recommending improvements to optimize margin and profitability.
  • Monitor execution against plans and contractual projections, performing variance analysis and highlighting risks or opportunities.
  • Support forecasting of costs, revenue, cash flow, and financial risks/opportunities.
  • Lead process improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and streamline financial workflows for scalability.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve data issues affecting estimates, invoicing, and margin reviews.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis for customers and leadership on program and project profitability.
  • Leverage data, dashboards, and analytics tools to drive continuous improvement, including adoption of new technologies (e.g., AI).
  • Support company-wide Quality, Environmental, and Safety (SMS) policies and execute additional projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in cost management, analysis, or control within a complex project or program environment
  • Post-secondary education in commerce, finance, industrial engineering, economics, or related field
  • Experience in program and project analysis and cost performance management
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant budgets, invoices, costs, and financial transactions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Microsoft Excel, statistical analysis software, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Experience using enterprise applications and systems (e.g., ERP and CRM systems)

  • Experience in a complex, highly regulated industry (aerospace or aviation preferred)
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and conscientiousness
  • Self-starter with strong motivation and passion for problem-solving and project excellence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated desire for life-long learning
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI to enhance analytics and business intelligence (experience in AI and big data considered an asset)
