Job description

Ghostrock, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a motivated and analytical Program Control Analyst I to support project financial management, billing, forecasting, purchasing, and reporting activities for government contracts. This position is located in Hanahan, SC.
Position Overview:
This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and learning new systems and processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Contracts, Finance, Program Management, and Operations personnel to support contract execution and business operations.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious and enjoys figuring things out.
We are seeking an individual who can analyze data, identify trends, research discrepancies, and develop practical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are more important than prior government contracting experience, which can be learned on the job.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Essential Responsibilities:
Program Controls & Financial Analysis
  • Perform project cost, billing, and revenue reconciliations.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies involving project costs, funding, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Assist with project financial reporting and analysis.
  • Support monthly revenue and profitability reviews.
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Analyze project financial performance and identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain analytical spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Billing & Contract Administration
  • Support preparation and review of customer invoices.
  • Assist with contract funding and ceiling tracking.
  • Perform contract closeout reconciliations.
  • Support audit requests and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain project and contract records within Deltek Costpoint and related systems.

Purchasing & Operations Support
  • Assist with purchase requisitions and purchase order administration.
  • Track procurement actions and vendor documentation.
  • Support material, subcontract, and travel tracking activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve purchasing and project issues.

Problem Solving & Process Improvement
  • Independently research and resolve financial and operational discrepancies.
  • Investigate issues within Deltek Costpoint and supporting business systems.
  • Recommend process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn complex financial and business systems.
