The AIM‑9X Development & Integration portfolio within the Naval Air Missiles Business Unit has an opportunity for a seasoned financial analyst to support a suite of development and integration programs within the AIM‑9X Finance team. These efforts are part of a broader strategic portfolio dedicated to advancing AIM‑9X capabilities, integrating new technologies, and supporting the evolving needs of the warfighter. This is a high‑visibility role, as programs within the AIM‑9X portfolio are regularly reviewed by business unit leadership. The financial analyst position offers a strong growth opportunity to work on cutting‑edge missile technologies while supporting a flagship capability that continues Raytheon’s legacy as the premier provider of solutions to the warfighter.

The ideal individual for this job will be a strong communicator with an acute desire to learn new concepts, tools, and management processes. This position provides the opportunity to develop and enhance skills with SAP APEX, PRISM, and additional systems within Raytheon’s earned value management tool suite. The role requires regular face‑to‑face interaction with Control Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, program and finance leadership, and the government customer.

This position is an onsite role in Tucson, Arizona.

What You Will Do

  • Support regular Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Lead financial earned value cadence on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare customer data packages summarizing program financial status
  • Conduct manpower and material variance analysis, including developing and reviewing variance narratives in an earned value environment.
  • Monitor funding, invoicing, and cash collection for assigned contracts.
  • Elevate team performance by applying prior experience to complex assignments within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced data analysis experience and mathematical skills.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance .

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
