The Senior Program Cost Controls Analyst will provide critical financial and program control support to the SM‑3 IB FY26–32 Production award, a high‑tempo munitions acceleration program. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate cost, schedule, and financial data across both recurring production efforts and key non‑recurring initiatives, including obsolescence mitigation and facility capacity expansion. The analyst will support EAC/LRE development, Earned Value reporting, and funding analysis while partnering closely with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure execution visibility and timely issue resolution. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, highly dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

  • Drive development of Estimates at Completion (EACs) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), providing clear financial insight to program leadership.
  • Report Earned Value (EV) metrics and perform detailed analysis against budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
  • Support core cost, schedule, and financial reporting activities including funding analysis, tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early identification of risks or issues.
  • Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to support program execution and resolve cost or schedule concerns.
  • Maintain accurate program financial baselines and support monthly reviews and planning activities.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in Program Controls, including knowledge of Earned Value Management fundamentals
  • Working experience in a finance role.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems and all Microsoft Office tools, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, metrics, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex cost and schedule data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, data modeling, and visualization tools.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams such as Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Experience supporting production programs, non‑recurring efforts, or fast‑paced execution environments.
  • Familiarity with cost management tools such as SAP or similar systems.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
