About the Team:
Reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the executive leadership, Group Strategy is a small, high-impact team that brings strategic clarity and cross-enterprise perspective to leadership decisions. We shape the strategic agenda by identifying what's next, support critical decision-making with insight and context, and drive cross-enterprise initiatives that turn strategic opportunities into reality. Team members thrive by bringing clarity to complex questions and working as trusted partners across the enterprise.
The role requires strong strategic judgment and the ability to operate effectively in a multi-business environment, translating ambiguity into clear priorities and actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Support business and functional teams in shaping their strategic priorities by conducting market research, identifying emerging opportunities and risks, and helping connect team plans to broader enterprise goals.
  • Build relationships across business units and functions, contributing to cross-enterprise collaboration and supporting execution of strategic priorities.
  • Synthesize research, data, and stakeholder inputs into clear, well-structured analyses and presentations that help leadership assess options and make decisions.
  • Contribute to core workstreams such as Strategic Planning, Competitive Intelligence, and Strategic Foresight, taking ownership of specific deliverables and helping improve methods and outputs over time.
  • Prepare materials for leadership forums, offsites, and executive meetings, ensuring high-quality content that supports consistent strategic messaging across the enterprise.
  • Proactively experiment with AI tools and new methodologies to improve the team's workflows, and share learnings to help build the team's overall capacity.

You May be a Good Fit if:
  • 2-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development.
  • Structured thinker who can break down complex problems, identify what matters, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Exposure to strategy frameworks (e.g., market sizing, competitive positioning, growth/investment analysis) with a desire to deepen expertise.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for experimenting with AI tools (e.g., LLMs, copilots, automation) and a track record of finding practical ways to use new technology to work smarter.
  • Interest in financial services, credit markets, or data & analytics products is a plus; direct industry experience is not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to convey information clearly and concisely, producing well-structured written materials and high-impact visual presentations.
  • Comfort working with multiple stakeholders across levels and navigating ambiguity.
  • Self-directed and responsive, able to produce high-quality work, and adjust priorities as business needs shift.
  • Professional poise, intellectual curiosity, and strong judgment.

Why this role:
  • High visibility with enterprise leadership and broad exposure across Fitch's portfolio of businesses.
  • Direct exposure to enterprise-wide decision making across multiple businesses, products, and growth horizons.
  • Opportunity to influence strategy, growth priorities, and operating direction in a global organization.
  • Work within a small, high-caliber team operating at the center of the organization.

Why Choose Fitch:
  • Hybrid Work Environment: 3 days a week in office required
  • A Culture of Learning & Mobility: Dedicated trainings, leadership development and mentorship programs designed to ensure that your time at Fitch will be a continuous learning opportunity
