Job description

The Product and Regulatory Operations organization is a vital part of our client's commitment to protecting users and businesses across its large scale technology platforms. The organization delivers operational support for emerging and critical priorities while partnering closely with product, engineering, legal, operations, and other cross functional stakeholders.

We are seeking a Technical Product Operations Specialist to lead projects that improve the growth, engagement, quality, and safety of digital products through data driven decision making and technical solutions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of technical product operations, program management, advanced SQL, data visualization, AI assisted workflows, and cross functional leadership. This person will independently develop analytical solutions, automate workflows, identify program risks, and drive measurable improvements across multiple products and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support program execution strategies across multiple products and platforms

• Launch new programs and initiatives, accelerate delivery, and improve product quality and outcomes through technical and programmatic solutions

• Write, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced SQL queries to collect, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources

• Use CTEs, window functions, joins, aggregations, and data transformations to answer complex product and operational questions

• Identify trends, patterns, risks, and insights that inform product strategy and business decisions

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Google Sheets, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools

• Develop reporting solutions that support timely and informed stakeholder decision making

• Use AI agents and AI assisted tools to accelerate data analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and prototype technical solutions

• Proactively identify program risks and develop data backed mitigation strategies

• Communicate findings, recommendations, rationale, and program updates clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining strong organization, quality, and attention to detail

• Strengthen relationships across product, engineering, legal, operations, and other cross functional teams

• Anticipate roadblocks, break complex problems into manageable components, and drive solutions through structured analysis

• Create detailed process documentation, technical requirements, and step by step operational guidance

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 or more years of relevant experience in strategy, operations, consulting, program management, technical product operations, or a related field

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex workstreams independently

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including CTEs, window functions, joins, aggregations, and data transformations

• Experience using data to identify problems, evaluate options, and influence product or business decisions

• Experience with AI agents, generative AI tools, or AI assisted workflows

• Ability to create, test, and refine prompts and AI enabled processes to accelerate work

• Expert level proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets

• Experience creating complex formulas, pivot tables, automated workflows, reports, and detailed documentation

• Strong critical thinking and structured problem solving skills

• Ability to anticipate program risks and develop practical, data supported solutions

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities

• Self directed approach with the ability to take initiative and move projects forward with limited supervision

• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies, tools, systems, and business domains

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting product operations within a large scale technology platform

• Product operations experience within safety, integrity, regulatory, quality, or user and business operations

• Experience with VS Code or a similar development environment

• Experience with vibe coding, AI assisted code generation, or low code and no code prototyping

• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms

• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data infrastructure concepts

• Experience working with engineering teams to define technical specifications and requirements

• Experience in quality assurance, triage operations, ML validation, AI validation, or product testing

• Experience developing and implementing manual and automated testing strategies
