Sales And Product Strategy Associate

Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children's wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal.

Overview:

The Sales and Product Strategy Associate will support the Sales team in all aspects of the sales process for a designated brand/category and help to identify strategic opportunities in the market.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the team in all aspects of the sales process, including showroom management, market preparation, and administrative support
  • Support the development of sales plans that meet financial targets and drive revenue growth by account
  • Conduct market research on competition in relation to brand(s) and communicate findings to influence line development and MSRPs that will drive the business
  • Shop stores monthly to identify trends, understand the competitive landscape, and find product opportunity
  • Work closely with Sales and Design to help ensure all geo needs are met
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Design to identify new product opportunities and prepare to present retail opportunities to cross functional leadership
  • Support the seasonal market prep for all accounts, including coordinating the necessary samples and creating seasonal toolkits
  • Assist in showroom set-up/preparation ensuring all necessary samples are in meetings
  • Ensure samples are effectively managed and pack/unpack samples for trade shows and out of town market appointments
  • Assist in assortment merchandising
  • Prepare International assortment for Team review
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in wholesale or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary Description $55,000 - $85,000 per year
