As an Integrations Engineer, Point of Sale (POS), you'll be part of our enduring legacy and exciting growth. This role supports strategic POS initiatives and guest-facing technology by managing critical third-party integrations, as well as designing and troubleshooting complex or customized POS functions for our restaurant and contract dining operations. They're responsible for working with external partners to build POS integrations with external systems; ensuring an intuitive front-end user experience that translates seamlessly to back-end operational processes. This role requires in-depth knowledge of POS technology and relational databases, associated peripherals, and networking concepts as they relate to POS systems.

  • Create a Smile: Partner with restaurant and contract dining operators to design, integrate, and support POS solutions that deliver an intuitive, reliable front-end experience while aligning with back-end operational workflows.
  • Join A Caring Team: Work closely with operations leaders, internal IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, test solutions, document processes, and train users on POS platforms and integrated systems.
  • Bring Your Energy: Manage and support multiple POS platforms, peripherals, and related infrastructure, applying strong knowledge of databases, networking, and system configurations to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Reach Your Goals: Own and optimize third-party integrations while evaluating and recommending new and emerging technologies that support strategic POS initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise POS and/or retail systems. Experience with multiple POS platforms preferred.
  • 3+ years experience configuring/maintaining third party ordering integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of POS hardware, software, and associated peripherals.
  • Understanding of networking concepts as they relate to POS systems.
