You will be responsible for driving quality, managing testing delivery, and leading a team of QA engineers in an onshore-offshore model.## Your role* Lead end-to-end quality engineering and testing activities for large Retail and Restaurant program, ensuring successful delivery against project objectives.* Define and drive test strategy, test planning, resource allocation, automation approach, and quality governance across multiple releases.* Manage and mentor team of test engineers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.* Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, test scenarios, automation scripts, and validation activities across functional and non-functional testing areas.* Drive defect management, root cause analysis, defect triage, and risk mitigation activities while ensuring timely issue resolution.* Provide clear and concise daily, weekly, monthly, and executive-level reporting on project health, quality metrics, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.* Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and program leadership within a global onshore-offshore delivery model to ensure project success.## Your skills and experience* 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, QA Testing, or Test Management roles with proven leadership experience.* Strong expertise in Retail and Restaurant systems, including Point of Sale (POS) platforms; Oracle POS/Xstore experience preferred.* Demonstrated experience leading and managing large QA and automation teams across complex enterprise programs.* Strong understanding of test management, quality engineering processes, defect management, release management, and software delivery lifecycles.* Hands-on experience in test automation, including Web, Mobile, and API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.* Experience working within Agile delivery environments and utilizing tools such as Jira, QMetry, Git, Jenkins, Maven, and debugging tools including Charles or Fiddler.* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and executive reporting skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.* Preferred Skills: + Experience with Java-based automation frameworks, Selenium, Rest Assured, or equivalent technologies. + Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and continuous testing methodologies. + Experience supporting omnichannel retail, digital commerce, or restaurant technology platforms.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
