Job description

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Install and set up POS solutions at the stores
  • Configure system settings to meet specific business requirements
  • Manage the processes to transfer funds between customers, merchants, and financial institutions.
  • Provide technical assistance to merchants and financial team regarding payment processing issues.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in transactions.
  • Conduct PoC to improve/expand the payment system and internal backend system.
  • Develop/Automate new innovative features and apply to the system for enhancement.
  • Perform Tier 2 technical troubleshooting
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Communicate persuasively with store personnel to alleviate their technical problems
  • Collaborate with employees across the company to maximize their work effectiveness by ensuring proper technology operations.
  • Perform compliance activities and establish day-to-day operation to meet requirements.
  • Renewal of licenses, planning and implementing IT security to meet legal requirements
  • Strong vendor management

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Information Technology/Computer Science
  • 4~7 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of payment system flow/structure
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, particularly in computer hardware and software.
  • Linux based system operation
  • Basic network knowledge
  • Basic data analysis
  • Toshiba POS hardware system installation/operation
