Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain CMO, The Planning Manager will have oversight responsibilities for any of the Planning functions, including Sales & Operational Planning, Forecasting, Production Planning and Master Scheduling. This position will work with the Senior Director of Supply Chain CMO to ensure that all planning, execution and control functions are efficient, effective and meet the production needs of manufacturing and customers for the Jubilant HollisterStier facility in Spokane.
  1. Planning Manager leads and manages Line and Packaging Planners. Responsibilities include Inventory Analysis, resource allocation, production planning, KPIs, S&OP Process, New Item creation and BOM updates, hiring, training and cGMP adherence
  2. Ensure execution of Planning related weekly and monthly activities - TECO (Process Order closure), Expiration Report. Actual production reporting, Adherence of Production Planning etc.
  3. Working in close collaboration with the Sr. Director of Supply Chain, execute activities related to the annul Budgeting activities.
  4. Working in collaboration with Procurement and Warehouse, implement integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Quality and outside suppliers to execute the planning and replenishment process.
  5. Identify and utilize systems tools (SAP and ERP) needed to implement advanced production and supply planning systems.
  6. Participate in the establishment and communication of key performance metrics and benchmarks related to Planning; measure and report performance against goals.
  7. Ensure that all Planning activities and processes are accurately described in written procedures and instruction, followed meet with cGMP requirements.
  8. Manage process by identifying gaps and ensuring the integrity of systems information.
  9. Interview and hire employees. Ensure that documented training, attendance, and performance records are maintained.
  10. Conduct performance reviews and set objectives for Planning team. Review and approve performance reviews and objectives for non-exempt employees.
  11. Ensure timely delivery, and consistent high quality of product.
  12. Complete annual expense and capital budgets as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts with a major in one of the following: Business, Production Management, Industrial Engineering or related field required
  • APICS certification desired
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain management desired
  • 5 to 10 years related experience required
  • FDA Regulated Industry Experience required
  • Supervisory Experience required
  • Pharmaceutical or similar industry desired
  • Managerial Experience desired
  • Working knowledge in wide variety of complex and technical operating systems required
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Suite required
  • Working knowledge in SAP and ERP operating systems required
  • General knowledge of import/export traffic management desired
  • Minimal Travel < 10%; some travel required to supplier sites for external training required
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted required
  • Prolonged Sitting required

Shift: Weekday Days, Monday-Friday
Compensation & Benefits:
This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
  • Hiring Wage: $96,750.00 - $154,800 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
