Sous Chef Opportunities – Metro Detroit

We're looking for passionate, hands-on Sous Chefs who thrive in all-scratch kitchens and have a proven ability to lead teams, maintain high standards, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef with all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop line cooks and kitchen staff
  • Ensure consistent execution of recipes, plating, and quality standards
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and food cost controls
  • Support scheduling, labor management, and operational efficiency
  • Foster a positive, professional, team-oriented kitchen culture


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Sous Chef experience in an all-scratch kitchen
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience in high-volume restaurant environments
  • Knowledge of inventory control, food costing, and kitchen systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Compensation & Schedule
