Mannino's in Moyock is looking for a new Head Chef and Sous Chef. The Head Chef is in charge of all aspects of the kitchen's operations, ensuring quality food is going out to guests, managing food preparation, managing staff, and adhering to all health and safety standards. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining food safety, and monitoring food costs.
The Sous Chef is responsible for providing supportive leadership to kitchen staff throughout food service. Their duties include assisting the Head Chef in monitoring kitchen activities, ensuring quality taste or presentation and taking on additional responsibilities in the Head Chef’s absence to ensure that kitchen staff has proper direction.
Head and Sous Chefs are responsible for knowing and being able to work every station.
Previous Kitchen experience is mandatory.
Must be able to work in fast paced environments while effectively leading a team.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
