Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As the Senior Payroll Analyst for our Faculty Practice Group, you will be responsible for:
  • Processing all payroll and transactions for approximately 6500+ employees
  • Supporting FPG employees, physicians, and leaders by being a liaison to UCPath Center
  • Providing necessary support to resolve escalated pay disputes, complex HR and/or Payroll transactions or policy interpretations
  • Communicating resolutions or guidance to the impacted stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Salary Range: $65,800 - $130,800 Annually

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-directed individual with:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience completing Personnel & Payroll transactions in online systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of (HRIS) HR and Payroll online applications
  • Working knowledge of the computerized time and attendance systems
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including skill in performing accounting tasks such as debiting, crediting, and reconciling expenditures
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze policies and procedures and determine compliance of existing policies and procedures
  • Ability to understand and interpret University policies, labor contracts and the application of these guidelines in the payroll process, where applicable
  • Advanced arithmetic skills to add, subtract, multiply or divide figures to compute rates

As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
