Homestead, PA (Hybrid)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Payroll Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining payroll records. The ideal candidate will have experience handling multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and payroll system management.

OVERVIEW OF THE SR. PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:

  • Process high volume payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy in deductions, earnings, and taxes.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll-related inquiries.
  • Stay up to date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to manage benefits deductions and reporting.
  • Assist in payroll audits and prepare necessary reports.
  • Support process improvements and system upgrades for payroll efficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SR. PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

  • 4+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems. UKG (UltiPro) preferred.
  • Understanding of federal and state payroll tax regulations.
