Role Description: The purpose of the Recruitment Manager is to lead and implement the new employee recruiting and selecting process for the dealership. This is a part-time, year-round position averaging between 15 and 20 hours per week. Recruiting and selecting includes establishing procedures and executing all steps . . . from job positing on applicable job boards to onboarding of new employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Create Job Requisitions and post open jobs through the Paycom Applicant Tracking System.
  • Utilize the Paycom Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to interact with, and manage information from, potential candidates.
  • Establish relationships and implement recruiting efforts at Colleges, Universities, Technical Colleges and High School Career & Technology Centers.
  • Coordinate and lead interviewing, including initial screening interviews and in-person interviews with hiring managers.
  • Establish and implement Training Plans for new employees through John Deere University.
  • Adjust and make available recommended discussion interview questions, or interview guides, for reference by supervisors who will interview each job category of candidate.
  • Maintain a repository of current Job Requisitions in Paycom's ATS, including archived applicant records associated with each Job Requisition.
  • Establish and maintain, in Paycom's ATS, the list of pre-screening and knock-out questions for each category of applicant.
  • Establish Off-Boarding and Exit Interview practices for the dealership.
  • Oversee and maintain all elements of Onboarding of new employees, ensuring that each element is completed effectively.
  • Support other Human Resources roles as needed.
  • Assist in administering employee engagement programs which may include recognition programs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years experience in workforce recruiting.
  • Excellent communication, interviewing and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office and Teams, and internet functions.
  • Ability to use database software and human resources computer application systems.
  • Ability to achieve expertise in using the Paycom Applicant Tracking System.
  • Understanding of confidentiality policies and other regulatory policies.
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with job boards and networks that are relevant to the dealership.
