Job Description

The high-growth digital Partnerships team is seeking an experienced professional to join as the Director, Partnerships supporting the NBCUniversal Global Advertising & Partnerships division.

We’re looking for an exceptional, results-oriented individual who uniquely combines the interpersonal skills to act as a primary liaison between NBCU and our third-party FAST channel supply and media partners, with the strategic, quantitative analytical skills to grow the business.

You will oversee our rapidly growing FAST channel business, managing our existing relationships and capacity, and regularly analyzing performance to hit revenue goals and identify new growth opportunities. You will also identify and operationalize a broader growth strategy working cross-functionally with sales, NBCU brands and third-party media companies to enhance our offering and drive rapid revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage NBCU’s FAST monetization partnerships with supply partners such as Roku, Samsung, Pluto, Amazon and LG as well as the NBCU brands and third-party media companies supplying the content for FAST channels
  • Cultivate strong relationships within NBCU and partners’ organizations to identify and lead growth strategy initiatives and accelerate revenue opportunities
  • Analyze partner performance and regularly share optimization recommendations with NBCU and third-party media companies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve existing business operations, ensure seamless execution of new initiatives and develop go-to-market strategies and execution plans needed to drive rapid revenue growth
  • Support the commercialization of new opportunities with FAST partners and internal teams across marketing, sales, planning and other stakeholders
  • Identify and track key performance indicators to measure success and drive progress
  • Communicate the vision and status of strategic initiatives to senior executives and coworkers at all levels of the organization
  • Identify, recruit, and operationalize new revenue growth opportunities and partnerships with FAST partners and platforms
  • Chart operational processes and educate the broader sales team on new offerings
  • Leverage and maintain understanding of key ad sales, planning, and financial systems (e.g. Salesforce, NBCU Internal budgeting systems) and use these tools to support revenue forecasting and performance modeling
  • Keep abreast of technology/media industry trends and market conditions
Qualifications
  • Understand platforms and technologies that support digital content distribution and monetization (e.g. OTT, mobile, DAI, ad serving, measurement, etc.)
  • Uniquely combine quantitative skills needed to analyze the business with interpersonal skills needed to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • High comfort level performing real-time business analysis and execution of priority initiatives
  • Passion for simplifying complex concepts, defining value propositions and championing the voice of sales
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive self-starter with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Strong track record of cultivating relationships
  • Keen attention to accuracy and detail

Requirements

  • MBA preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience directly working in media/advertising at a leading entertainment corporation, agency and/or technology platform
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal and written communication skills

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $120,000 - $175,000 + Bonus and Long-Term-Incentive eligible
