Part-Time Receptionist

Position: Part-Time Receptionist
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays (required) with the ability to provide occasional coverage on other weekdays as needed.
Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Part-Time Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our organization. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, manage front desk responsibilities, and support daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and flexible enough to provide backup coverage during the week when needed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, vendors, and applicants in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing correspondence.
  • Prepare, package, and ship documents and materials using FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
  • Track outgoing shipments and assist with shipping records as needed.
  • Receive deliveries and notify employees of incoming packages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and conference rooms.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with calendar coordination.
  • Perform data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and document preparation.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, breakroom supplies, and shipping materials.
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Support meetings by preparing conference rooms and coordinating refreshments when needed.
  • Assist with special projects and provide general administrative support to the office staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
  • Provide backup front desk coverage on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays when needed due to vacations, meetings, or other staff absences.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
