ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR - COSMETOLOGY
TRUMAN COLLEGE
Truman College is currently seeking a part-time Faculty to teach Cosmetology. If you have passion for teaching and learning, and are committed to the mission of the community college, consider joining our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the classroom by developing and using effective teaching strategies that meet students' diverse needs and engage the student in critical thinking and problem-solving.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design courses to meet learning outcomes, and promote students' active participation in their own learning.
  • You must demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.
  • You are required to post your syllabi on Brightspace and to enter your grades online in PeopleSoft.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Current State Licensure required.
  • Five years of shop experience.
  • Knowledge of a Learning Management System preferred.

The starting salary for this position is $800.00 - $943.00 per contact hour. The rate paid is in accordance with City Colleges approved salary scale. Benefits information is found at https://www.ccc.edu/departments/Benefits/
