The Accounting Department produces monthly financial statements and variance analysis. Major activities include: maintaining financial statements with generally accepted accounting principles, monthly posting of operations performance, reconciling general ledger accounts, fixed asset reporting and capital spending tracking, managing the annual financial audit, completing external requests for information, and reporting structure and system maintenance.
Position Summary Oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting and tax area. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the General ledger, reconciling all sub ledger, reviewing account reconciliations, preparation of monthly financial statements, tax reporting coordination of the annual external audit and other periodic federal and state audits, coordination of tax audits and staff supervision.
