Job description

The Assistant Director, PeopleSoft Financial Management Systems isprimarily responsible for supporting and enhancing the PeopleSoft Financials(FSCM) system and other related finance applications, and has demonstratedstrong hands-on experience with technical development and system optimization.The Assistant Director collaborates closely with the Associate Director,Financial Systems, Reporting and Planning on system upgrades, integrations,reporting, and production support.  Keyresponsibilities include working with PeopleTools technologies (PeopleCode,SQR, Application Engine, Integration Broker), supporting system interfaces anddata integrations, troubleshooting issues, and automating processes.  The Assistant Director also helps define andmaintain the rules and procedures that guide how the finance systems are usedand will research and make recommendations on ways to improve how theuniversity manages financial tasks by using technology more effectively.

This role partners with Information TechnologyServices (ITS) and Finance teams to deliver technical solutions that improveefficiency, data accuracy, and user experience. The Assistant Director alsohelps support system upgrades, testing new features, and system improvements.They help troubleshoot issues, assist users, and support financial reportingefforts. This role is important in connecting technical work with the needs ofthe Finance teams and the larger university.

This is an in-office position.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: 112,900 to 141,100; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
