Peoplesoft Manager Opportunity

Contract to hire, they prefer someone who lives within a drivable distance. Seeking someone technically strong and a strategic people leader to help carry through their upcoming transition to Workday. Salary range is up to $185k. Our Peoplesoft Manager who has been with us for more than five decades has decided to retire in April. We are actively seeking candidates for this opening with a contract role so that we plan the transition from the current manager. We are looking for someone who is local to Boston with at least seven years of Peoplesoft HR/Finance and SCM technical experience with a leadership background. This role will work closely with HRIS/Finance/Research and SCM teams. This is a techno-leadership role who will be responsible for a team of PeopleSoft Admins/Integration and Report Developer/Security Admin and Architect. Someone who is proficient building collaborations, change agent driving business and technology transformation and leading teams through the strategic evolution of ERP space. For the right candidate, salary for the permanent role is up to $185K and role is primarily hybrid with monthly on-site meetings. We are looking at a contract to get us started with the goal to move to a permanent employee status.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads team and schedules day-to-day activities. Provides work direction, career development and performance reviews. Responsible for staffing during normal hours.
  • Leads team in administration and processing of all problems. Ensures that issues are responded to and resolved appropriately in a timely manner.
  • Resolves the more complex problems, escalated by staff and provides direct assistance to end user. Functions as a liaison to other Hospital groups for ISD staff, when needed.
  • Recommends and implements procedural changes and improvements to the ever-changing technological environment making it more efficient and responsive to end-user needs.
  • Provides status reports and feedback to management. Interacts closely with other Hospital departments to better serve the end user community.
  • Demonstrates and maintains a broad in-depth knowledge of supported software, related system requirements. Recommends new technology as appropriate.
