Position Overview
Protiviti is seeking a highly accomplished PeopleSoft Enterprise Integration Lead to serve as the senior technical lead for a large-scale, multi-year Finance Transformation initiative. This individual will act as a trusted advisor and extension of the Protiviti team, providing strategic leadership across PeopleSoft Financials, enterprise integrations, and transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise leading multiple enterprise-scale PeopleSoft Financials implementations, upgrades, transformations, and integration programs for large organizations. This role requires a blend of executive presence, technical leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on PeopleSoft integration expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Transformation Leadership
  • Lead the PeopleSoft Financials technical workstream for a large-scale finance transformation initiative.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic finance transformation objectives.
  • Provide thought leadership on PeopleSoft Financials modernization, optimization, and integration strategies.
  • Drive technical decision-making across complex finance, accounting, and enterprise application ecosystems.
Enterprise Integration Leadership
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise integrations involving PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Define integration strategies between PeopleSoft, Oracle applications, ERP platforms, data warehouses, and third-party systems.
  • Oversee integration governance, standards, architecture reviews, and technical quality.
  • Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions.
Technical Architecture & Delivery
  • Provide oversight of solution architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Review technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and remediation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Guide technical teams across multiple workstreams and vendors.
Executive & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary advisor on PeopleSoft Financials and integration-related matters.
  • Communicate effectively with C-level executives, finance leaders, PMOs, and technical teams.
  • Facilitate executive steering committee discussions and strategic planning sessions.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and project sponsors.
Program Governance & Mentorship
  • Lead technical governance activities across large enterprise programs.
  • Mentor project teams and provide guidance on best practices and delivery strategy.
  • Drive issue resolution and decision-making in highly visible, high-impact environments.
  • Act as a trusted extension of the Protiviti leadership and delivery organization.
Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of PeopleSoft experience with emphasis on PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Proven experience leading multiple large-scale PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives.
  • Extensive experience serving as an Enterprise Integration Lead, Technical Lead, or Chief Architect.
  • Deep expertise in PeopleSoft Financial Management modules.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and middleware technologies.
  • Experience leading multi-year ERP and finance transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with CIOs, CFOs, Controllers, PMOs, and executive leadership.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting processes, and enterprise business operations.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and executive-facing consulting skills.
  • Experience managing distributed teams, vendors, and large program workstreams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Financials, or hybrid PeopleSoft/Oracle environments.
  • Big Four or major consulting firm experience.
  • Experience supporting Fortune 500 or large public-sector organizations.
  • Background in finance transformation, shared services, ERP modernization, or enterprise architecture.
  • Experience leading organization-wide integration and data migration initiatives.
  • PMP, TOGAF, or related architecture/project leadership certifications.
