FSU Panama City is located 100 miles west of Tallahassee on the beautiful north St. Andrews Bay, and is only three miles from the beaches of the emerald coast. FSU PC currently houses 20 bachelor's programs, 9 master's programs, and 1 doctoral program, and boasts a small faculty-to-student ratio, which gives students a more personalized academic experience. Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate courses such as College Algebra, Pre-calculus, Trigonometry, and Applied Calculus.
  • Mentoring and working closely with undergraduate students.
  • Working with colleagues in the Math Department in Panama City and Tallahassee to assist course coordination.

Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics (or a related field) from an accredited institution, with at least 18 hours of graduate work in Mathematics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • We are especially seeking candidates who have a minimum of two years of experience teaching at the university level, either in-person or online.
  • We prefer candidates with a demonstrable and quantifiable record of instructional excellence and a focus on strong pedagogy, and who have experience with using management systems learning (e.g., WileyPLUS, MyLab Math, and ALEKS).
