Job description

The Programmer Analyst III - provides level 3 support services applicable to experience. Full Stack Developer with experience in Micro Services as well as UI Expertise in using Angular and Kotlin and very proficient in UI technologies and experience which supports these technologies, which are Key for our platform UI development. Provides business systems design, analysis and programming services to modify existing programs and write new programs. Assists in maintaining the daily production schedule of core business systems and provide user support/consultation, training and technical, operational and production support. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and incumbent is the subject matter expert in a variety of programming languages and utilities. Possesses an advanced understanding of the organizations products and services.

Primary Responsibilities
  • 1. Encode, test, debug and document associated, complex software/programs.
  • 2. Review, analyze, troubleshoot, and modify complex core and customized software.
  • 3. Respond to complex, escalated customer inquiries/requests for technical/operational support.
  • 4. Resolve complex technical matters to meet customer service level agreements.
  • 5. Analyze and/or implement corrective action for root cause analysis/fixes or corrective action of defects.
  • 6. Follow documented Software Development Life-Cycle standards.
  • 7. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor or specialist.
  • 8. Point of contact for higher level or complex issues and will work with senior levels for resolution.
  • 9. This position is full-time and may require after hours or on-call support including, but not limited weekends and evenings.
Education/Experience
  • 1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3. Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding in the following areas: Java technologies using Java 1.4 and greater, JSP,XML: Web Technologies, such as HTML, JavaScript.
  • 4. Experience with Oracle database 9 and above and expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development.
  • 5. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, work instructions, process maps and/or governmental regulations.
  • 6. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • 7 . Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of internal and external customers.
  • 8. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • 9. Basic understanding of and willingness to learn and adopt professional and industry standards.
  • 10. Customer service driven.
  • 11. Strong team player.
