Job Description Summary:

  • Provides analysis and resolves payroll issues. Under limited supervision.

Essential Functions:

  • Identifies and addresses systems issues and customer inquiries in compliance with company policies.
  • Analyzes and resolves matters pertaining to tax, wage and hour compliance, garnishments, applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field required.

Minimum Experience:

  • Five (5) years experience in payroll, financial systems processing, financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of personal computer applications.
  • Good analytical, human relations and communication skills.

Job Conditions:

  • None

Preferred Qualifications: SQL experience, Auditing skills/experience, controls and compliance experience, automation experience, project management skills. This position may be eligible for relocation. This role deals with controls and compliance in the Payroll Department.

Additional Details: This is a hybrid position located in Collierville, TN, Plano, TX, or Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.
