IT Site Lead - CASCOM G-6 IT Support Services
Location: Fort Lee, VA (On-Site)
Clearance: Active Secret (Required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Professional to lead all operations supporting CASCOM G-6 IT Support Services. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of enterprise IT, classroom technology, VTC, AV, web services, and logistics support across Army Sustainment University and associated schools.
The Site Lead serves as the primary interface with the Government (COR/KO) and ensures mission execution, staffing, performance, and compliance across a high-tempo, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the point of contact (POC) for all contract operations and Government coordination
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of all functional areas, including:
    • Client Support / Service Desk
    • Server & Infrastructure Operations
    • MECM / Endpoint Management
    • Digital Training Systems (GCSS-A, Mission Command, LIS)
    • Audio Visual (AV) and VTC operations
    • Web/SharePoint services
    • Logistics and asset management
  • Ensure 100% compliance with PWS requirements, AQLs, and performance standards
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution across all labor categories
  • Oversee service delivery performance, including SLA adherence, ticket resolution, and system uptime
  • Lead problem resolution and escalation management, ensuring rapid response to outages or mission impacts
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders to prioritize work, implement changes, and support mission requirements
  • Ensure all operations comply with DoD, Army, NETCOM, T2COM, and CASCOM policies
  • Oversee cybersecurity compliance, configuration management, and system accreditation support
  • Manage surge operations, including exercises, training events, and system deployments
  • Develop and deliver reports, metrics, and briefings to Government leadership (e.g., status reports, performance metrics, risk assessments)
  • Maintain quality control processes, ensuring continuous improvement and risk mitigation
  • Support transition planning, onboarding, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Foster a high-performing team environment, providing mentorship, training, and performance management

Required Experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience managing IT operations in DoD or enterprise environments
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably supporting federal contracts
  • Minimum (3) years of experience working with Windows Server 2019, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (Forefront TMG), formerly known as Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA), Share Point, SQL Server 2019, and Active Directory planning and implementation.
  • Experience in DoD architectures and communications initiatives such as tactical networks, and commercial satellite communications, LAN, systems administration, configuration management tools and techniques, and the knowledge and experience setting up and managing software testing labs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing:
    • Multi-functional IT teams (20-40+ personnel)
    • Enterprise IT services, infrastructure, and end-user support
    • Training systems or classroom technology environments (preferred)
  • Experience with:
    • NIPRNET/SIPRNET environments
    • IT service management (ITSM), SLA tracking, and performance metrics
    • Risk management, escalation handling, and operational planning
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience interfacing with Government CORs, KO representatives, and senior leadership

Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Management, or related field
    (Master's degree preferred)
  • CompTIA Security+ (Required)
