Overview
Join a mission-focused IT team supporting CASCOM G-6 by managing enterprise endpoint environments through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). This role is critical to maintaining standardized, secure, and rapidly deployable systems across Army classroom and enterprise networks.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain enterprise server and endpoint environments, including file, web, SQL, printer, and application servers, ensuring continuous availability and peak performance
  • Manage Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) for enterprise endpoint administration, imaging, patching, and software deployment
  • Monitor systems and endpoints to identify and resolve degradation, outages, unusual activity, and deployment failures, and notify Government stakeholders of critical issues
  • Perform system/server backups and restorations in accordance with CASCOM and NETCOM policies to ensure data integrity and continuity
  • Manage Active Directory (AD), including user and computer account creation/deletion, permissions, and access control troubleshooting
  • Administer storage environments (SAN/NAS) and maintain high-availability operations across infrastructure components
  • Manage Network Access Control (NAC) lists to authorize and maintain compliant devices on the network
  • Import, remove, and manage devices within MECM, including collection management and targeted deployments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and report on software deployments, including generating compliance and deployment status reports
  • Develop and execute MECM queries to support reporting, compliance tracking, and system management
  • Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, document, and decommission servers, endpoints, and associated hardware/software
  • Support configuration management, patching, system baseline maintenance, and endpoint compliance in accordance with DoD/Army standards
  • Perform system builds, re-imaging, and deployment support, including SAP ERP training systems and other mission applications
  • Conduct daily inspections, diagnostics, and vendor-recommended testing to ensure systems operate within defined tolerances
  • Support lifecycle replacement of servers and IT infrastructure, including disassembly, relocation, reassembly, and rebuilds
  • Coordinate with Network Enterprise Center (NEC) administrators to plan and execute large-scale deployments across T2COM classroom and training systems
  • Support new system fielding, including setup, configuration, training, and development of continuity documentation
  • Maintain and support specialized and training networks (e.g., ORSA environments), including imaging, configuration, and patching
  • Provide SharePoint and web server administration support as required
  • Provide customer support, including ticket resolution, walk-in support, and coordination with external Government resources
  • Analyze system requirements and recommend technical solutions for infrastructure and network improvements
  • Document all processes, configurations, and system changes in accordance with SOPs and enterprise IT standards
  • Ensure all systems and endpoints comply with DoD, Army, NETCOM, and local security and operational policies

Required Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in endpoint management and enterprise IT environments
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
    (OR equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Security+ (IAT II) required
