Job description

Training Analyst
The Opportunity:
The Training Analyst will serve as a Subject Matter Expert ( SME ) responsible for developing, managing, and delivering comprehensive formal training solutions for the ICADS Family of Systems ( FoS ) . This role is integral to the "Product Support Management, Training and Logistics Support" tasks outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The analyst will ensure that all training materials align with the rapid prototyping and fielding schedules for the ICADS FoS, while simultaneously guaranteeing compliance with the standard Navy Training Process, PADDIE+M, NAVE DTRA M-142, and OPNAVINST 1500.76E. This role is critical for bridging the gap between system acquisition and Fleet readiness, orchestrating Initial and Interim training phases and ultimately ensuring a seamless transition of the training cap ability to the designated Training Agency for permanent sustainment.
What You'll Work On:
  • Training and Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and verify comprehensive training materials, presentation materials, and user documentation for the ICADS FoS. Ensure all contractor-developed training documentation aligns with NAVE DTRA and OPNAVINST 1500.76 reference instructions.
  • Analysis and Manpower Training Requirements Planning Experience : Analyze Job Duty Task Analyses ( JDTAs ) and other technical data to define training requirements and ensure curriculum effectiveness for system operators and maintainers. Lead the Manpower and Training Requirements Planning ( MTRP ) process to architect the optimal training baseline.
  • Strategic Documentation Support: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing the Navy Training Systems Plan ( NTSP ) and other key logistics documents. Ensure the NTSP successfully serves as the primary justification document for securing Resource Sponsor funding across the Future Years Defense Program ( FYDP ) for life-cycle sustainment.
  • SME Advisement and Execution: Serve as the primary SME for Electronic Warfare ( EW ) and Cryptologic training, providing critical insights and participating in operational-level training events and technical exchange meetings. Manage readiness risks prior to Initial Operating Capability ( IOC ) by planning and executing Fleet Introductory, Initial Training, and Interim Training via Mobile Training Teams ( MTTs ) .
  • Policy Integration and Sustainment Handoff: Support the implementation of policies for Information Warfare and Cryptologic systems, ensuring training reflects the latest system configurations. Coordinate the PMT Advisory Board ( IPT ) and drive the program toward the "Ready for Training" ( RFT ) milestone to guarantee a seamless handoff of curriculum and responsibilities to the institutional schoolhouse.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with instructor-led and computer-based training development and delivery met hods
  • 5+ years of experience with instructional design met hodologies or teaching
  • Experience demonstrating operational expertise in a Navy or joint military environment.
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Systems Design ( ISD )

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in instructional design, military training development
  • Experience with the NTSP, JDTA, and PADDIE+M processes
  • Experience evaluating training deliverables such as CDRLs and DIDs to ensure strict compliance with military standards
  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare, Cryptologic Systems, and Information Warfare operations
  • Knowledge of OPNAVINST 1500.76E and NAVE DTRA M-142
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex technical documentation to develop effective training for advanced systems
  • Navy Master Training Spe cia list ( MTS ) or Navy Journeyman Instructor Navy Enlisted Classification ( NEC ) 805A Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
