Job description

Job Title: Breaching Operations SME
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Overview:
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a highly motivated Breaching Operations SME with strong experience in support of USSOCOM.
This Position is Contingent upon Contract Award to SkyBridge Tactical LLC
Responsibilities:
The Breaching Operations SME’s Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assists the SGM and Deputy for Breaching as the Breaching SME working in collaboration with government partners, academic laboratories, and private industry - to develop new tools and technology in support of the SOF explosive and mechanical breaching community.
  • Assists in the preparation and development of new requirements documentation to include Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), SPECAT messages, Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Test Plans, and update Project Folders.
  • Provides advice and training on current advanced drilling techniques/technology applications; explosive planning factors; charge preparation; charge emplacement; and design, fabricate, and test commercial and industrial blasting products.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualifications include a background in heavy and medium explosive and mechanical breaching operations (particularly SOF) with a knowledge of breaching and entry techniques, tactics, amp; procedures.
  • Have knowledge in areas supported by the specified subject area to support product selection, architecture, system design, engineering, intelligence systems, security and other technical, operational, and analytical disciplines to include reliability, maintainability and life cycle cost management.
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree
  • Minimum of 16 Years of Experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex government contract requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with proposal management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
