Konami Gaming is looking for an iGaming Producer to join our team!
This position is responsible for communicating with the iGaming Management Team and 3rd Parties to support the iGaming game development process. The iGaming Producer collaborates with internal and external development teams, Software Quality Assurance (SQA), Technical Compliance, and iGaming Management to ensure the iGaming group's business needs are driven through the organization professionally and appropriately. Primary responsibilities include facilitating game development and game release process. This role will involve regular customer communications (both written and verbal), product demonstrations, trade show participation, and conducting analyses to define customer requirements relevant to Konami's iGaming products.
It requires close coordination with the Research & Development, Quality Assurance (SQA), Compliance, Sales, Marketing, and Service departments. This position also requires flexibility to always act autonomously while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures.
What you'll be doing:
Game Development (60%): Number of titles released per year. Game performance.
  • Assist with both internal and external development of Konami slot content for Social Casinos and Real Money Gaming to produce distinctive, high-quality products.
  • Consolidate existing assets for land-based slot products and prepare concise, accurate asset packages that developers can utilize to port those games to the online platform.
  • Write specifications for 3rd Parties and internal organizations about the features that need to be ported.
  • Review specifications that are developed by other members of the iGaming team.
  • Make decisions about how to modify land-based products for online distribution and clearly explain those modifications.
  • Review game implementations and provide feedback.
  • Review Jira entries from SQA and determine the appropriate response.
  • Perform product demos.
  • Provide recommendations about land-based titles to add to the online roadmap.

Project Management (25%): Number of titles released per year.
  • Collaborate with internal and external development teams, SQA, and Compliance to ensure that the game development and release pipeline is on track.
  • Support engineering team by creating project planning documentation.

Product/Market Analysis (8%): Data accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor industry trends related to iGaming content and UX
  • Conduct market research and provide results for iGaming Management for use in making product development decisions.
  • Review internal and external performance reports and provide recommendations regarding new distribution opportunities and the product roadmap.

Game Release Support (5%): Data accuracy and quality.
  • Draft and review documentation that accompanies each game release.
  • Collaborate with artists to develop marketing asset packages.
  • Share documentation with customers.

Special Projects (2%): Quality and timely results.
  • Work on special assignments that are critical in nature to meet revenue, customer satisfaction issues, timeframes, and other business goals unrelated to core responsibilities.
  • Represent iGaming team in tradeshow planning, installation, and support
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

What we'll want you to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Hotel/Hospitality, Business, Engineering, Technical Arts or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience in gaming industry.
  • Previous experience in iGaming or land-based gaming.
  • A minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Casino management experience desired; product management, product marketing and/or slot floor understanding and technical certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
  • Ability to understand high-level technical concepts and explain them both verbally and in writing to either a technical or non-technical audience.
  • Intermediate and above-level understanding and usage of Microsoft Office products.

Additional Requirements:
  • Position must attend monthly Field Research trips to casinos, tradeshows, or as needed. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.

Work Environment:
  • Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in an area with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Must be able to work at assigned location to enable direct communications and interactions with team members, management, and others as necessary, unless traveling for a business-related purpose.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, paying attention to detail, and meeting assigned deadlines. Demonstrates high integrity, trust, and strict confidentiality. Ability to maintain excellent communication and a positive, respectful, and professional attitude and relationship with clients, employees, peers, co-workers, all levels of management, and all outside organizations conducting business or otherwise interacting with the company. Ability to always act autonomously while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures.
  • Minimal travel necessary. 0-10%, or as business requires. Employee must be flexible to the travel needs of the business. Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Position shall work primarily in a smoke free office environment. The noise level is low to moderate. Position shall maintain a cubicle or office in close proximity to other cubicles and offices.
