Job description

PART TIME OFFICE MANAGER

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a small, dedicated team providing water and sewer services to residents, businesses, and ski resorts near Donner Summit.

We are a small agency with up to 7 employees, and this part-time role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can work independently, has an eye toward learning and improving processes, and brings a strong understanding of local government finance and personnel.

The Part-Time Office Manager will handle the core administrative and financial functions of the District, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Starting Hourly Rate: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on qualifications

Hours: 16 to 24 hours per week. This is a part-time, at-will position. No benefits are provided.

Education Level: 4 year degree desired

Experience Level: 5+ years of experience required

About us:

The Donner Summit Public Utility District is located in Soda Springs, California, and provides sewer collection and treatment and water treatment and distribution to its customers. The District is governed by a five-member board of directors. District staff includes a general manager and an administrative assistant. The sewer and water department staff includes a chief plant manager and four licensed operators.
