Meherrin River Forest Products

Meherrin River Forest Products is seeking a detail-oriented Office/Accounting Administrator to support our sawmill operations. This position is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, banking activities, and general office administration.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and prepare payments
  • Create customer invoices and post payments
  • Review and submit weekly payroll information
  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and banking transactions
  • Reconcile accounts and vendor statements
  • Assist with trucking compliance records, IFTA, and IRP filings
  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Maintain organized files and office supplies
  • Provide administrative support to management

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
