Accounting Clerk

Hyundai of Central Florida is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our growing team!

Since opening in 1970, Mullinax Automotive has grown to be among of the nation’s top-volume vehicle retailers. We have 12 dealerships including Ford, Hyundai, Genesis, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac in Florida, Alabama and Washington. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a great team and gain experience in the Automotive Industry.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Audit Deals, Payoff Liens, Stock in vehicles
  • 8300 form uploads, department of revenue filings, and abandon property filing
  • Preparing and posting journal entries for month end close
  • Administrative and clerical tasks
  • Running errands to the post office, banks, or supply store
  • Covering reception, answering phone calls, and taking messages
  • Counting and receipting cash
  • Working with other stores

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping/Accounting experience
  • 3 or more years working in an office environment
  • Must have a professional appearance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in team environment
  • Beginner to Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work
  • Capability of multi-tasking and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment
  • Automotive industry experience a plus
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
  • Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
