About the Role:
John W Kitzmiller MD PC in Lake Orion, MI is looking for a friendly and organized Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our medical practice. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated healthcare team where your people skills and attention to detail truly make a difference for patients every day.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of service
  • Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical files
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
  • Handle general administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and data entry
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a medical front desk, receptionist, or administrative role preferred
