We're looking for people who have a passion for Jesus, a heart to serve, and a desire to be a part of work that matters! We have opportunities to serve remotely and at our facilities in Buchanan, MI.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The IT Specialist is responsible for managing Life Action's IT systems, including hardware,
software, networking, security, automation, and AI. This management role requires IT experience
and the ability to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and guide the organization's
technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & IT Infrastructure
Oversee and maintain Google Workspace and Google Voice services.
Ensure reliable operation of servers, laptops, workstations, and other hardware.
Purchase and configure workstations and other equipment as needed.
Maintain WIFI infrastructure at The Camp (modems, access points, etc).
Configure and maintain server environments to support organizational needs.
Administer firewall, switching, and routing for security and efficiency.
Security & Backup Management
Oversee server backups and workstation backups.
Manage and enforce antivirus protection and cybersecurity best practices.
Implement and maintain a password manager for organizational security.
User Support & IT Strategy
Provide technical support and training for staff.
Explore ways to utilize AI solutions for increased efficiencies
Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
Research and recommend new technologies to improve operations.
