Description

This is a day/evening position that is responsible for serving faculty, staff and students at the Mount Pleasant or Harrison campus locations with Help Desk, classroom technology, ITV room technologies and computer-related questions and troubleshooting. This position is an internship that can last one or more semesters depending upon need.
Examples of Duties
  1. Help Desk duties including answering incoming calls, emails, and creating tickets.
  2. Oversee the computer labs and assists students with technical problems.
  3. Assists faculty when needed with ITV technical problems.
  4. Assist faculty when needed with classroom technology problems.
  5. Performs general computer maintenance and troubleshooting..
  6. Performs other related tasks as required.

Typical Qualifications
Education, Certification, Licensure:
  • Background in technology is preferred.
  • Must be enrolled in classes currently or for a future semester at an institution of higher learning.

Supplemental Information
  • Ability to relate positively to people in a learning environment is essential.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Self-starting/time management skills.
