Description
Streetsense is seeking a Part-Time Project Management Coordinator to support our Public & Nonprofit (PNP) Solutions team. This role offers hands-on experience working on community-focused initiatives that help downtowns, nonprofit organizations, commercial corridors, and place-based organizations strengthen their impact and implement strategic plans.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, consulting, urban planning, economic development, community development, or nonprofit management. They enjoy bringing structure to complex projects, managing multiple priorities, and helping teams move initiatives from strategy into implementation.
This role will provide hands-on experience supporting complex consulting projects through stakeholder coordination, project tracking and documentation, and the preparation of presentations, reports, and client communications.
What You'll Do
Project Coordination & Administrative Support
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and follow up communications
  • Maintain project trackers, action items, and implementation work plans
  • Organize files and make sure documentation is up to date
  • Support day-to-day project coordination across client teams, stakeholders, and internal project teams
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and action items
  • Assist with presentation preparation and ongoing project execution activities

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
  • Coordinate meetings with clients, advisory groups, committees, and project stakeholders
  • Manage scheduling, meeting logistics, and stakeholder outreach
  • Help prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, briefing documents, and follow-up communications
  • Capture meeting notes and summarize key decisions, action items, and next steps

Organizational & Administrative Support
  • Maintain project trackers, schedules, and implementation work plans
  • Organize project files and supporting materials
  • Assist with internal team coordination and communication across multiple workstreams
  • Provide administrative support that helps projects remain on schedule and organized

Research & Strategic Support (as needed)
  • Support in market research and data analysis, as needed
  • Support the collection and organization of market research, visitation trends, demographics, competitive positioning, and real estate conditions
  • Pull reports from data platforms (such as Placer.ai, ESRI, CoStar) and provide analytic support to the broader team on consumer behavior, tenant mix, mobility patterns, storefront conditions, and evolving market trends.

Requirements
  • Current or recent undergraduate student or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Commercial Real Estate, Non-Profit Management, Communications, Political Science, Project Management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with project management, event planning, student leadership, nonprofit organizations, or community engagement is a plus
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, preferred
  • Familiarity with GIS and mapping tools preferred
  • Interest in public sector, nonprofit, community development, placemaking, economic development, or consulting work
