This is an onsite, part-time, Monday through Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Project Coordinator 1 position located in Dulles, VA.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing administrative support to project management and sample receiving, while delivering high-quality customer service to all clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Review, complete, and process standard project management forms, documents, databases, and related materials.

  • Provide basic interpretation and guidance to staff and leadership on project management policies, programs, and practices for routine operations.

  • Conduct research and assist in resolving employee, management, and customer inquiries; coordinate responses as needed.

  • Support project activities, including client communication, verification of sample check-in, monitoring analysis status, responding to inquiries, and assisting with invoicing.

  • Direct client calls and requests to the appropriate project manager for follow-up.

  • Assist in project management or cross-functional initiatives, including support with timelines, materials, and coordination of resources.

  • Interpret and apply department policies, procedures, and applicable laws or regulations; seek guidance as needed.

  • Contribute to departmental efficiency through continuous improvement and active participation in team initiatives.

  • Promote and support Pace Analytical's mission through professional, cooperative interactions that foster a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED; AND two (2) years of administrative support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Required Knowledge:

  • Department policies, procedures, and functions.

  • Basic understanding of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

  • Familiarity with standard testing tools, equipment, and calibration.

  • Computer applications and systems related to the work.

  • Principles of effective teamwork and project participation.

  • Communication methods for interacting with staff, customers, and stakeholders.

  • Proper business English, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
