What is a part time entry level project coordinator?

Part Time Entry Level Project Coordinators are professionals who assist in planning, organizing, and managing projects within a company on a part-time basis. They typically handle administrative tasks, coordinate communication between team members, and help track project progress. As entry-level employees, they may receive guidance from senior project managers and are often responsible for scheduling meetings, updating project documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met. This role provides valuable experience for those interested in advancing within project management.

To thrive as a Part Time Entry Level Project Coordinator, you generally need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic project management knowledge, often supported by a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills help you coordinate tasks and collaborate effectively with team members. These abilities are crucial for ensuring projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and stakeholders are kept informed.

  • Communicate: Support project meetings, document key discussions and action items, and help ensure updates are shared with team members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Tasks: Track project progress, monitor deadlines, identify potential delays, and help resolve roadblocks.
  • Manage Risks: Assist in identifying project risks and issues and support the development and tracking of mitigation plans.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A strong written and verbal communicator who works well with others.
  • Dependable, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • A problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks.
  • Curious about AI, technology, and how data-driven projects move from planning through delivery.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with project management or collaboration tools is a plus.
