Job description

Join our team as a Business Administrator Supervisor, where you will oversee the loan processing function for commercial and agricultural loans. In this role, you'll drive operational efficiency, ensure accurate and timely loan processing, and lead a team of Business Banking Administrators to deliver high-quality service across the bank.
This role can be located at one of our office locations in Muscatine, Quad Cities, Coralville, or Galesburg.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead, coach, and supervise Business Banking Administrators, including hiring, training, performance management, and development
  • Oversee the full loan lifecycle-from application through closing and post-closing activities
  • Ensure accurate preparation and review of loan documentation aligned with approved credit terms
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs for loan booking and funding
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in a high-volume environment
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Ensure proper handling and release of security documentation (UCCs, promissory notes, titles, etc.)
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Promote a strong culture aligned to organizational values, customer service, and teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of commercial loan documentation experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending and credit documentation (agricultural lending experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements within the banking industry is preferred
  • Experience with systems such as nCino, Jack Henry, LaserPro, or Compliance Reporter is a plus
