Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - NOC Shift (Part-Time)

Westgate Gardens Care Center - Visalia, CA
Pay range $30-$31/hr BOE

Westgate Gardens Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time LVN for our NOC shift. If you are committed to providing high-quality skilled nursing care and want to work in a supportive, team-focused environment, we would love to meet you.

About the Role

The LVN plays a critical role in delivering direct nursing care to residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities carried out by CNAs. This position requires adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities while ensuring high standards of quality care at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and clinical standards

  • Supervise and guide nursing assistants during the assigned shift

  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed

  • Accurately document nursing notes, physician orders, treatments, and resident status

  • Prepare and administer medications and treatments per physician orders

  • Respond promptly to changes in residents' conditions, notifying supervisors and physicians

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and safety procedures

  • Participate in ongoing quality assurance efforts and facility surveys

  • Maintain a professional, supportive, and respectful environment for residents, families, and staff

Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered LVN license in the state of California

  • Current CPR certification

  • Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred

  • Ability to lead CNAs, multitask, and make sound clinical decisions

  • Strong communication, documentation, and assessment skills

  • Knowledge of PCC (PointClickCare) preferred
