Job description

Position is budgeted for ~500 hours. Seasonal Help. Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Parks General Manager and Parks Ranger, the part-time Parks Maintenance Associate performs a variety of maintenance tasks throughout the County Parks.

This position is responsible for keeping all aspects of the Parks System operating and in good condition. This is a grant funded position and may be vacated due to changes in grant funding. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Inspect and maintain all trail infrastructure systems.

Perform scheduled trail maintenance Equipment maintenance Oil changes Grease equipment Daily pre-trip inspections Performs Building Maintenance Janitorial duties Bathrooms and showers Cabins Additional parks buildings Infrastructure repairs and upgrades Building repairs and upgrades Sewer and septic repairs and upgrades Plumbing repairs and upgrades Forest Management Removing windfall, dead or diseased trees Saw mill operations Firewood processor operations Maintain fencing Firefighting Fuel suppression Respond to any emergency involving trail maintenance in a timely manner Trail damage Tree and brush removal Perform snow removal Perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner Performs related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
