Job description

Paper Roll Packager
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Paper Roll Packager for a company based in Farmers Branch, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build hands-on production experience while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing team focused on quality, precision, and efficiency.
Pay Rate
$15.00 – $17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 1st shift. Overtime may be required.
Paper Roll Packager Duties and Responsibilities
  • Package finished paper rolls according to work orders and specifications
  • Apply correct labels including SKU, size, lot number, and customer information
  • Install core plugs, end caps, and protective materials
  • Wrap rolls using kraft paper, stretch wrap, poly, or boxing as required
  • Inspect rolls for defects such as damage, contamination, or incorrect sizing
  • Verify roll specifications including width, diameter, and quantity
  • Palletize finished goods and secure loads for shipment
  • Complete production tickets, packing slips, and required documentation
  • Use scanners or ERP systems to confirm inventory transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
  • Communicate discrepancies or issues to supervisors
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Paper Roll Packager Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and labels
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
