Job description

Job Summary:

The Wealth Strategist at Parallel Advisors is an associate level role within a fast-growing Registered Investment Advisory firm with a culture of entrepreneurship, education, and collaboration. As a Wealth Strategist, you will work closely with two experienced Advisors with a wide range of expertise, supporting current clients and prospects through administrative and technical assistance. Parallel Advisors fosters a collaborative culture, allowing Wealth Strategists to gain deep exposure to multiple facets of the financial planning and investment management processes.

This is a hybrid (in office 3x/week) position and will be based in either our Scottsdale or Dallas office.
Duties and Responsibilities
    • Act as liaison with existing clients to schedule and coordinate client meetings on a regular basis.
    • Coordinate action items gathered from client interactions to improve the client experience and efficiency within the team.
    • Gather information from clients and enter portfolio data into spreadsheets and update entries using our financial planning tool (MoneyGuide Pro).
    • Help gather and distribute client information to outside professionals such as CPAs, bookkeepers, or estate planning attorneys on a regular basis.
    • Assist in organizing work papers, scanning and uploading documents, onboarding new clients, and maintaining existing client records in our CRM system (we use Salesforce).
    • Working cross-functionally and collaboratively within the team to identify and delegate ad hoc client requests to appropriate team members.
    • Work closely with advisors to assist in researching and presenting custom client projects and analysis, making sure to stay up to date on investment models and private markets offerings.
Qualifications
    • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
    • Ability to manipulate data via Excel (Formulas, VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc)
    • Ability to leverage technology to create operational efficiencies
    • Capability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities.
    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
    • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • Must hold Series 65 License or be willing to test and pass within 4 months of employment.
    • Financial services or bookkeeping experience a plus.
$65,000 - $75,000 a year
Salary range in SF: $72,000 - $95,000 base + 10% bonus
Listed range is for all other locations where Parallel has an office.
